Parents are required by Islam to provide an Islamic education to their children. This discussion centers around the direction, scope, tools, and techniques that parents should utilize to provide the optimum Islamic Education to their children.

Statistics paint a grim picture of the intimidation, violence, harassment, mass killings, physical and sexual abuse that our Muslim youth face in Western society. As Muslims in the community, we are responsible to understand the impact of the society on our youth and proactively provide a solution for the individual and the society at large.

Birmingham, UK, Wednesday 25th December 2013 — Muslims from all over the UK gathered at the Bia Lounge, Golden Hillock Road, to attend an event entitled, “Preserving the Islamic identity in the West”. The event was organized as part of the Know Muhammad (pbuh) campaign and was in relation to the latest attacks on Islam, relating to the veil and segregation row as well as addressing the government’s latest “Tackling extremism in the UK” report.
This talk details the struggles of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) at the hands of the Quraysh, where He (pbuh) was constantly ridiculed for his believes and the message He (pbuh) bought. The speaker links the struggles the Prophet (pbuh) went through is no different to the challenges the Muslim community faces today by the media, politicians and Islamophobes. Labels such as extremist, intolerant and terrorist being attached to those Muslims who hold on to Islamic values.

The Global Muslim Ummah – One Deen, One Destiny (Khilafah Conference 2014 — Hizb ut-Tahrir America)

The first four Khulafah were elected, is this not democracy? The aim of the series of videos is to provide simple answers to practical questions regarding the Khilafah. These short videos aim to cover key areas of governance, economy, foreign policy and law. Many books exist detailing the various systems of Islam such as the economic system, social system, judicial system, ruling system and others. To understand all of these various aspects of the Islamic system in detail requires a basic understanding of the principles that underpin such disciplines. This series of videos aims to show the Islamic stance, which is made in a clear and easy manner for everyone to understand without lots of details.
