The Masjid Al-Aqsa Compound, and more broadly Palestine, holds a special place in the hearts of not just Arabs, but Muslims across the world. It’s liberation from the hands of the occupying state is agreed upon, but concerned parties differ on what standpoint the issue should be addressed from. Is the freedom of the Palestinian people the responsibility of Arab countries or does this matter lie on the shoulders of all Muslims regardless of ethnicity?
