In the face of loss of a loved one, we are reminded of a deeper reflection that goes beyond grief and turns towards the urgency of preparing for our own departure from this world.  Let’s challenge ourselves  to rethink our priorities and to ensure that when our time comes, we meet death in a state of unwavering faith.

It is not death that we fear but the state in which we die, and we are urged to hold fast to Islam, unify as an ummah, and stand strong against division and disunity.
