The following year, again on the occasion of the pilgrimage, there came a group of twelve men from Madinah ready to acknowledge Muhammad (saw) as their Prophet- The first Pledge of ‘Aqabah.
After the First Pledge of ‘Aqabah, the Prophet(saw) sent to Madinah (Yathrib) Mus‘ab bin ‘Umair Al-‘Abdari [R], the first Muslim ‘ambassador’ to teach the people the doctrines of Islam, give them practical guidance and make attempts at propagating the Islam.
