On the 23rd night of Taraweeh Reflections during Ramadan, we delve into verses 21-31 from Surat Al Gafir, also known as Surat Al Mumin. These verses discuss the Makki life of Prophet Muhammad (saw) and draw parallels between his experiences and those of Musa (as). The struggle between Islam and Kufr intensified during this time, resulting in assassination attempts on the Prophet(saw). The verses also emphasize the importance of learning from the past, as they recount the outcomes of those who defied the prophets and messengers of Allah (swt).
In world today, we can still observe similar responses from those who oppose the message of Islam. These individuals often use fearmongering tactics to deter people from discovering and accepting the truth. As believers, we must remember that we are accountable to Allah (swt) and must strive to live according to His(swt) commands. By learning from the stories of previous nations and messengers, we can find guidance and inspiration to persevere in our Deen and share the message of Haq(Islam) with others.
