Reflecting on the vast mercy of Allah(swt), we are reminded that His(swt) compassion precedes His(swt) wrath. He(swt) has written upon Himself to be merciful, and His mercy encompasses all of creation. Out of the 100 portions of mercy, only one has been placed in this world—evident in the love between a mother and child, the kindness among animals, and the bonds of humanity. The remaining 99 are reserved for the Day of Judgment.
Should we rely on anyone other than Allah, the One who provides and is not in need of provision? Should we not fear the punishment of straying from His command?
